The Story
The letters here are known as Huroof-e-Muqatta’at (the disconnected or broken letters). They are a combination of letters found at the beginning of 29 surahs in the Qur'an. Numerous books have been written on the meaning of these words. The only absolute truth is that Allah S.W.T has kept the meaning hidden. However, many learned scholars are of the opinion that the wisdom behind the words was a challenge from Allah S.W.T to the Quraish, that the Qur'an was revealed using their own letters and words. Yet, they would never be able to combine those letters to produce anything of its sort. May Allah S.W.T allow us to gain from the benefits of reciting the Qur'an.
The rustic feel and texture were designed to symbolize an old piece of handwritten scripture.
