The Cave: a place of solitude, reflection, and protection.

In Surah Al-Kahf, Allah teaches us important lessons by way of stories of peoples of the past, each imparting divine wisdom.

The youth of the cave fled persecution from a tyrannical ruler and sought Allah’s protection. They were preserved in sleep for 309 years as a sign to their people. Allah protects the righteous who believe in Him, no matter how difficult their situation.

The Prophet (PBUH) warned that the greatest trial to face his ummah will be that of the Antichrist. The central theme of the surah is one of trials: faith, money, knowledge and power. These are the same tests which will be present in the time of the Dajjal. His fitna will touch every city, except for the holy lands of Makkah and Medina.

The Prophet PBUH said “Whoever commits ten verses from the beginning of Surah al-Kahf will be protected from the Dajjal.” Allah will protect you when you turn to Him.

I want to ask a question, I’ve several hadith claims that The Prophet P.B.U.H said when you for example "Whoever commits to ten verses of Surah Al Kahf will be protected from Masihi Dajjal! Can anyone give mee the light to understand, how did the prophet referred to such surat when Quran was compiled after he has gone by the Council appointed by Umar Ibn Khatab R.A which Uthman Ibn Khafan and Ali Ibn Abi Talib were task to compile the Quran we know today. Did Surat existed during the time of Our beloved Prophet P.B.U.H? Just looking for knowledge.
